The Tradere residence, located in the heart of Moncada, includes a Student Residence, a Boutique Hotel housed in a listed historical building dating from 1781 and a café and restaurant on the site of a former oil mill.
The residence, with its unique spaces that bring out the beauty of tradition, provides its residents, guests and visitors with accommodation, communal areas and services which are carefully designed to deliver an exceptional experience.
The project came about after we fell in love with the Casa Palacio dating back to 1781, a listed building which is now our Boutique Hotel, and the stunning oil mill, a site which has been repurposed as a café and restaurant to serve customers in a totally unique setting.
Both buildings convey tradition, history and charm coupled with vibrancy and character. Our vision expanded and the project grew to become not only a venue of choice for guests and visitors alike but also a home for students who are looking for an outstanding university experience.
Right from when we first planned the residence, a number of factors have shaped our ethos. Our vision and the way we do things are inspired by our commitment to making a positive impact on the wellbeing of our residents and guests and on our environmental, social and economic surroundings.
We are mindful of our operations’ effect on the environment. We aim to seek sustainable solutions and to harness new technologies to mitigate the impact of all our processes.
We are passionate about this and so at Tradere you’ll find:
Renewable energy
We have photovoltaic panels which prevent CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
Smart systems

More than just a residential complex, Tradere is also a site of cultural interest which showcases the area’s historical heritage, underpinned by preserving and reinterpreting cultural assets.
We buy local produce and support local jobs and businesses, in line with our socioeconomic responsibility.
Tradere is home to residents from many different places and so we foster cultural exchanges which we believe will help towards the all-round education of people.
